Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, yesterday made another history after his team defeated Cape Verde 3-2 in the World Cup Round of 32 encounter.

Messi scored the first goal in 29 minutes of the match against Cape Verde to become the first player to break history in the FIFA World Cup scoring seven goals in two different editions of the tournament which is (2022 and 2026).

Messi becomes the first footballer to reach this milestone in history.reaching  30 matches played in World Cups

The Inter Miami forward so far have  scored 12 goals in his last 8 World Cup matches against Australia, Netherlands,France, Croatia, Algeria, Austria, Jordan and Cape Verde

The former Barcelona captain is full of hopes  to lead Argentina to victory when they face Egypt in the Round of 16 on Tuesday next week.
